Dear Parents

In Memoriam

It is with great sadness that I inform the school community of the sudden passing of Jacob Mokgatle. Jacob retired from Japari at the end of 2016, after serving Japari for an incredible 32 years. Jacob moved back to his home near Rustenburg and passed away on Friday 17 February. Our school community’ s thoughts and prayers are with Monica and the family, at this very sad time.

Thank you to those parents who forwarded photos of the recent Inter-House Swimming Gala. It is always very useful when we receive additional coverage of our events, which we can then add to ours and update our webpage, D6 Communicator etc, as well as submit to the local press as school news.

Work is progressing well on the upgrade to our children’s toilets. This upgrade will be complete soon and will ensure that all our children have very good ablution facilities.

The Mid-Term Break is upon us!!! Japari will close today at 11 am and re open on Tuesday 28 February. We wish all members of our Japari family, a well- deserved and enjoyable break. For those traveling, please do so safely. Please remember to use your MySchool Card during the Mid-Term Break and in fact, throughout the term!!!

Regards
