Our Story

Founded by Dr. Sonia Machanick, a pioneering South African medical doctor, author, and educational psychologist who specialised in new pathways for children experiencing learning barriers.

“Japari” carries personal heritage: it was formed using the names of Dr. Machanick’s four children.
